I once experienced a real paranormal event that occurred during the Hungry Ghost Festival in Singapore, also known as the Chinese Ghost Month. One evening, as I was walking home from work, I suddenly felt a strange sensation as if someone was following me from behind. I looked back, but there was nothing there. Then, I started feeling physically uncomfortable, my body broke out in goosebumps, and I felt a heavy, magnetic-like pressure, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. Despite this, I continued walking home.
When I got home, the discomfort disappeared. I prepared dinner and took a shower as usual. During the shower, I noticed some black things flashing in front of my eyes. Although I didn't feel uncomfortable, I assumed it might be insects. After the shower, I watched TV and went to sleep.
In the middle of the night, I suddenly felt something pressing on me, and my chest started to ache slightly. I kept waking up between being awake and asleep, with goosebumps all over my body. At that point, I began reciting Buddhist scriptures before I could fall asleep.

The next morning, feeling exhausted from lack of sleep, I prepared to take a shower. After taking off my clothes, my family looked at me in shock and said, "What happened to your chest?" I saw a large black area on my chest, extending down to my stomach. I had no idea what caused it, and it scared me. It was the first time I had seen it, and my family witnessed it too. As I recalled the strange events that had been happening since the previous night, I suddenly remembered that I had accidentally stepped on the burning incense offerings people had left out for the Hungry Ghost Festival. I told my family about this, and then the next day they went to the famous Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple in Singapore to seek peace and brought back a Kwan Yin talisman for me.
That day, I went to work as usual, but I felt goosebumps all over my body all day, as if a magnetic force was pressing on me, with slight chest pain and difficulty breathing. It wasn't until I got home from work that my family gave me the Kwan Yin talisman, which I put in my wallet. As soon as I held the talisman, my family and I saw the black patch on my chest suddenly disappear, which was truly miraculous. From that day on, I have been visiting the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple in Singapore to seek peace, and I have been doing so for many years. Since I got to know this temple, I have not encountered any more paranormal events. Perhaps it was my connection with Kwan Yin and Buddhism.

Looking back, when I had that black patch on my chest, I should have taken a photo with my phone as evidence, but the situation was urgent, and I didn't think about it, so I forgot to take a picture. Whether others believe it or not, faith is a personal matter. These events cannot be explained by science. I just wanted to share the strange things I once experienced. Besides this story, there are many other paranormal events that have happened to me. If you enjoyed my story, please share it with your family and friends. Thank you, everyone.
