Mastering the Art of Event Console Management: Insights from Jay Chua

Jay Chua has extensive experience in event console management. He is adept at handling various aspects to ensure the success of events. In the recognition part, he emphasizes the importance of animation videos, the Hall of Fame, rankings, and individual slides. For the live feed, Jay ensures that the leaders' emotions are prominently displayed on the LED screen. Access to the console is limited to a trusted member of the Business Development team who knows the identities of the regional leaders. Prior discussions with the Event Organizer (EO) regarding seating arrangements for the leaders are crucial. Jay also ensures that the Camera Crane/Jimmy Jip is always in motion, capturing dynamic footage.

When it comes to the singer artist/live band segment, Jay believes in discussing the lyrics with the team during rehearsal to ensure accurate display on the LED screen. In the music part, continuous playback without gaps between videos is a priority. During leaders' mic sharing on stage, background music is played at a low volume, while core management teams and special speakers do not require background music when speaking with a microphone.

EDM serves as the energetic background music for the emcee on stage during their speeches. Jay is skilled in coordinating special effects such as Sparkular (fire), CO2 (smoke), and paper shoot/paper blower. The timing of collaborative song effects is carefully managed, with specific out timings. All effects are meticulously timed to conclude before the emcee's final speech.

Spotlight effects in the recognition part are synchronized with the respective team logos, creating a visually appealing experience. The colors for each team's spotlight effects are carefully chosen, such as white and light blue for Team Supreme Pegasus, white for Team Elite Pegasus, red for Team Elite Phoenix, green for Team Elite Pavo, red for Elite 3 Star, orange for Diamond 3 Star, blue for Diamond 2 Star, and yellow for Diamond 1 Star.

Lastly, Jay ensures the LED screen presets are well-organized. Different video loops and main videos are assigned to specific screen presets, ensuring smooth transitions. The LED screen presets are as follows: A (Play Video) - Main Video / Main Video / Main Video, B (Play Video) TSP 4 TSP 7 - Video Loop A / Main Video / Video A, C (Play Video) TSP9, 1 R - Video Loop A / Main Video / Video Loop B, and D - Live Feed / E-backdrop, Slide, Logo Loop, March In / Live Feed.

Jay Chua's expertise in event console management, attention to detail, and ability to create captivating experiences contribute to the success of various events he handles.
